Karachi: Chinese Industrialists from Chongqing Federation of Industry and Commerce (CFIC) will invest USD 400 million is several industrial and trade projects in Sindh, a news source quoted the announcement made by the federation representative Zhang Yang. The investment will be made under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Yang made the announcement during a press conference held at Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where the office bearers of HCCI and that of CFIC also signed a memorandum of understanding.
As per the news source, the investment will be made in the real estate, textile, tourism, solid waste disposal, education, steel, municipal, and agriculture sectors.
