Islamabad: An 11-member team of Chinese experts visited National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday, a news source reported.

The delegation, led by China International Engineering Consulting Corporation Director General Du Zhenli, met NAVTTC Chairman Syed Javed Hassan and Executive Director Nasir Khan.
The two sides discussed matters pertaining to vocational training sessions for the Pakistani workforce. This course was previously discussed during a meeting of the Joint Working Group on CPEC.
This programme will provide technical training courses to the domestic workers for CPEC projects. It aims to reform Pakistan’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.

To facilitate this measure, China will provide technology in the form of equipment and machinery as well as manpower to Pakistani institutes offering TVET programmes.
