Karachi: The Chinese government and investors have expressed willingness to invest in Sindh government’s development projects, a news source reported.

The Chinese Consul General in Karachi, Wang Yu, met with Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani. They discussed the country’s political situation, development projects in Sindh, and other matters of mutual interest. Yu expressed China’s interest to invest.
Meanwhile, Ghani briefed the Chinese Consul General about the ongoing development projects in the province. He also informed about the provincial department’s efforts to enhance sanitation facilitations in the region. Yu lauded the local government’s efforts for providing better civic services to the people of Sindh.
Ghani also met with the president of the SITE Super Highway Association of industries. Both official discussed the civic issues faced by the industrial estate.

The local government minister said that efforts are underway for ensuring water supply to industrial estates. However, he added, that government was providing water supply to residential areas on a preferential basis.
