He emphasized the need for Chinese investment in Pakistan’s IT sector, particularly in establishing Tier-4 data centers, which would significantly enhance the country’s digital capabilities.
“The digital economy and IT are the future of Pakistan, and we aim to benefit from China’s expertise in big data and digitization,” Randhawa stated. He further revealed that CDA is in the process of identifying suitable locations for these data centers in the capital.

In addition to digital investments, the meeting also focused on boosting Islamabad’s tourism sector. The delegation appreciated CDA’s efforts to develop world-class recreational facilities, including an electric cable car, the Islamabad Eye Ferris wheel, a theme park, and a zipline in F-9 Park.
Chairman Randhawa underscored Islamabad’s untapped tourism potential, citing its natural beauty and strategic location as key factors in attracting both domestic and international visitors.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in multiple sectors, with a shared vision of making Islamabad a modern, sustainable, and technologically advanced city.
