Lahore: Punjab Chief Secretary Jawwad Rafique Malik on Saturday reviewed the E-Khidmat Centre established at the Arfa Software Technology Park — with the center featuring 32 new facilities recently introduced to facilitate the construction sector, according to news sources.

The chief secretary inspected various sections of the E-Khidmet Centre and made inquiries from the customers regarding the quality of services. One citizen expressed surprise at the fact that his residential building design was approved within 10 days – without him having to visit the office.
The chief secretary urged the customers to reveal their insights about the improvement of the facilities. He issued directions for Planning & Development Chairman Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh to devise a comprehensive strategy for expanding the scope of the services provided by the E-Khidmet Centre.

He expressed an interest in expanding the services in districts through the manual procedure under the one-window operation. He added that all these improvements and automated services are being introduced to facilitate the construction sector and simplify the procedure for approvals to bring convenience to the people.
