Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Naveed Kamran Baloch reviewed the ongoing construction of the Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) project and found the pace of work satisfactory, according to a news report. Baloch instructed the relevant departments to speed up the clearance of the area surrounding the BRT so the traffic flow can be smoothened.
He also gave instructions for the cleaning up of open drains in the city. The BRT project has been under construction for some time now and the considerable delays have made it difficult for daily commuters. The Chief Secretary Baloch also directed the Peshawar Development Authority staff and district administration to regularly monitor the project.
