To obtain the Peshawar BRT Zu Cards, one has to visit the ticket counter at Chamkani Station. For a one-way journey, travellers can buy a standard ticket. They can use the Ticket Vending Machine to either recharge their existing Zu Card or purchase a new one.
The machine works similar to an ATM machine. Individuals can select the language in which they wish to use the menu. The screen offers multiple options including buying a new card or recharging the current card. In case of recharging, the person has to insert the Zu Card in the machine and proceed further.
The machine allows recharging the card via cash, credit or debit card, EasyPaisa, and Jazz Cash. Once the payment mode is selected, the cardholder can select an amount ranging from PKR 100 to PKR 1,000. Following the payment, the cardholder can proceed to the entrance gate and simply use the scanner to use the BRT service.
