Timergara: Traffic police personnel on Wednesday established a tourist information centre at the Bab-e-Dir checkpost in Chakdara, a news source reported.

Adenzai tehsil nazim Qamar Zaman and traffic in-charge Shad Mohammad inaugurated the centre during a ceremony. Police officials, local traders, and several area elders were all present at the occasion.
Addressing the participants gathered, Zaman said that the area has attractive tourist destinations such as Laram Top, Shahi, Binshahi, Sheen Ghar, Asbanr, Kumrat, and Lowari Top.
He requested the government to develop these tourist spots as they were in dire need of rehabilitation.

Traffic in-charge Shad Mohammad said that tourists visiting Dir, Swat and Chitral would be provided information about these areas at the centre. Moreover, visitors would be issued maps to help them navigate through the localities concerned.
