Islamabad: The federal government has decided to set up a state of the art IT Park in Chak Shehzad, according to a news report. For this project, funds worth PKR 9.2 million have been reserved in the federal budget 2018-19 for construction of a boundary wall and site development.
According to a previous news report, shared back in July 2017, the park will be ready by 2020 and it will span 47.7 acres. The first of the project was estimated to cost USD 88.25 million and a loan agreement between the Pakistan Ministry of IT and Korea Exiambank have already been signed.
