Gwadar: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said during the inauguration of the Gwadar Free Trade Zone and Gwadar Expo 2018 that the Federal government will extend all possible support to the Balochistan government, according to a news report. The premier called the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) a game changer, and said that CPEC and Gwadar will have a bright future because of the hard work of the Pakistani and Chinese teams.
He further added that it is up to the provincial government to find solutions to the problems faced by the province. He said that the future of the province is in the hands of its political leadership and that the provincial government needs to develop the entire coastline. He reiterated the need to turn Gwadar into an international city and added that the Federal government will pitch equally into the equalisation package for Gwadar so it could provide quality health, education and social services to the people of Balochistan.
