The new Scheme, which would cost PKR 18.5 billion, will offer safe drinking water to 200,000 residents in Mansehra. The Saudi government will fund the project through its Saudi Investment Bank development aid plan for underdeveloped regions. According to sources, the programme would be the largest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), aimed at reducing water-borne ailments in the province. In this regard, a ceremonial inauguration will take place soon.
