At this meeting, the CDWP approved eight projects worth PKR 31.44 billion, and forwarded three projects worth PKR 40.22 billion to the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) for approval. This is because the CDWP does not have the mandate to approve a project worth over PKR 10 billion, and has to forward such cases to the ECNEC for review — once it approves them on technical grounds.
