Lahore: The City District Government Lahore (CDGL) has removed various illegal structures in nine towns of the city during a recent anti-encroachment drive.
Following the directions of the District Coordination Officer Dr Ahmad Javed Qazi, the administration of towns launched an anti-encroachment drive and demolished illegal structures in Allama Iqbal Town, Gulshan Ravi, Township, Bagrian, Bilal Gunj, and Lakshmi Chowk.
Besides confiscating about 10 truckloads of different items, the anti-encroachment teams also lodged first investigation reports (FIRs) against encroachers in various police stations.
