Lahore: The City District Government Lahore (CDGL) has relocated 50 gypsy families from the Ravi riverbed in order to avoid any unfortunate situations in case of flooding.
The CDGL has also warned those still living on the riverbed to leave the area, failing which they will be evacuated by forcibly. The district coordination officers (DCOs) of Sheikhupura and Lahore have also been directed to keep Haji Kot Village under focus, as it was affected adversely by floods last year.
