Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday issued a letter of acceptance for three major projects in the capital city, a news source reported. The civic body issued the letter to a Karachi-based construction company that had recently won contracts for Rawal Dam Interchange, Korang Bridge expansion, and PWD Underpass.

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is expected to inaugurate all three Islamabad developments today via online correspondence.
According to details revealed, the Rawal Dam Interchange would be constructed on the junction of Murree Road and Park Road – also known as the Rawal Dam Chowk. CDA will execute the project with its own funding. Meanwhile, the PWD Underpass construction and Korang Bridge expansion will take place on the Islamabad Expressway.

CDA officials stated that once these three development projects reach completion, they expect to prevent traffic congestion in their vicinities. CDA spokesperson Mazhar Hussain also confirmed the issuance of bid acceptance letter for all three developments to the successful bidder.
