Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) recently approved the development of private housing schemes and apartment projects in sub-zone A of the city’s Zone IV, according to a news source.
Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed presided over a CDA Board meeting where they approved the changes to the zoning regulations. A source stated that while only government housing schemes were allowed in this sub-zone, now private schemes will be permitted as well. This is because a major chunk of the land was owned by private individuals and thus, the previous ban led to them suffering financially.
