Islamabad: The underpass at Jinnah Avenue F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange is set to be completed in a record 42 days, following directives from Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, according to a news source on December 18.

As featured in the details, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has confirmed that 75% of the construction work is finalised, with the project scheduled to open for traffic on December 25.
During an early morning site visit, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa assessed the progress and expressed satisfaction with both the pace and quality of work. He emphasised maintaining this momentum to meet the deadline while ensuring construction standards remain uncompromised.

Project officials briefed the chairman, noting that 70 out of 74 piles for the interchange have been completed, with underpass girder work in its final stages and concrete work for the underpass bed nearing completion. Once operational, the Jinnah Avenue Interchange will stand as a testament to efficient and innovative urban infrastructure development.
