Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is completing development work in Sector I-12 at a rapid pace, according to a press release issued by the authority’s official Facebook page on June 13.

As per the official report, CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmad launched the development work in Subsectors I-12/2 and I-12/3. To this effect, a joint survey of streets in the said sectors is underway and will be soon completed to launch earthwork. Moreover, the development of culverts will also be started alongside the earthwork.
Additionally, 40% of earthwork on the 350-kanal land area retrieved from the illegal occupation in Sector E-12/2 is also completed. As for the water supply infrastructure, work is underway on the underground water network and sewage system installation is also underway.

It was highlighted that CDA’s incumbent government is geared to complete the stalled projects and bridge the housing gap in the city. Presently, the administration is working to complete Sectors E-12 and I-12 within the communicated timeline to enable allottees to launch construction work on their plots.
