Islamabad: The capital development Authority (CDA) has announced the construction of two new parks in the capital city, as well as the installation of a Ferris Wheel, news sources reported. The Project Concept-1 (PC-1) of the two parks that are to be located at Lake View and Bhara Kahu, and the 180-ft-high Ferris wheel has been prepared and will be given final clearance at the forthcoming Development Working Party (DWP) meeting.

According to the report, the project at Lake View Park is an extension of the existing park, and a Ferris Wheel will be erected in the park to attract tourists. Similarly, at Forest Number 8, a 350-acre park would be built near Bhara Kahu. The park will have play spaces for children, jogging paths, fitness stations, a water sports area, a mini-golf course, and a forest section.

Similarly, CDA officials stated that a Ferris Wheel comparable to the London Eye will be built to amuse and attract more tourists to the capital city. It was also mentioned that the city administration is building the Pakistan Movement Park at H-8 along the Islamabad Expressway. The park will open on March 23 of next year.
