Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to improve and renovate buildings in various key markets, including Blue Area, Aabpara Market, G-6, F-6, and other commercial centers in Islamabad, as reported on June 13.

According to the details, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasised the need for a business-friendly incentive plan to be presented within a week to enhance the condition of these buildings. He announced that incentives will be offered to the owners of old buildings in accordance with new regulations.

The meeting concluded with the decision to take action against buildings constructed or under construction without CDA approval after June 30, 2024. Building owners are urged to apply for the approval of their building plans before this deadline to avoid having their buildings sealed. Additionally, the charges for building plan approval will increase after July 1, 2024, and new plans will be approved according to the revised charges.
