Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday announced its decision to take possession of 450 kanals of vacant land in Park Enclave-II, according to news sources.
Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed issued these instructions during a meeting. Reportedly, the decision was made after the meeting attendees were informed that all the pending matters regarding the said housing project had been settled.

Additionally, the meeting also issued directives to hold a special CDA-Development Working Party (DWP) conference in the coming 10 days, and to launch the development work for the abovementioned project no later than May this year.
Project Director briefed the meeting that land possession issues had been resolved in Park Enclave-I. He said that most of the streets in the project had been cleared and only minor development work remained to be completed. He also added that the mosque at Park Enclave-I would be one of the largest mosques in the capital, and that it is to be built on Moroccan architectural patterns.

Chairman CDA, in response, said that the project timeline should be met and that the construction work on the society’s mosque should be initiated immediately.
Director General (Works) informed the meeting that the tender for Sector I-12 and Sector E-12 balance work would be floated soon for work to commence in May; while the development work in Sector I-15 will be launched in April.
