Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to seal houses built along Kurri Road under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, a news source reported. The said houses were constructed without the civic body’s approval.
According to a notification issued by CDA’s Building Control Directorate-II, the action will be taken against category I, II and III houses on Kurri Road in Zone-IV area of Islamabad.
Meanwhile, the civic body has chalked out a demolition plan to remove encroachments built by employees of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on land around the Pakistan Sports Complex. CDA has already carried out a survey.
According to CDA findings, the PSB employees had been constructing illegal structures on land around the sports complex over the last 30 years. The civic body plans to construct a three-lane road to connect Seventh Avenue with Chan Sitara Chowk.
