Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s Building Control Section (BCS) II has decided to launch a drive against unapproved buildings in E-12, according to a news source. Under the first phase of this campaign, 84 multi-storey buildings will be sealed, for which the Director BCS II Shafi Marwat has also issued notifications.
The notices have been sent to the builders of several towers in E-12 including Madina Tower, Makkah Mall, Mehran Complex, Al Haram, One Dollar Shop, Khan Apartments, Mustafa Arcades, Al Falah Heights, Mahnoor Residencia, Sheikh Usman Building and Shopping Mall and Khudadad Heights.
For the planned operation, BCS assistant director and CDA inspector magistrate will assist in sealing off these buildings. In the second phase, the department will seal the marquees that have been mushrooming in this sector.
