Islamabad: President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Sheikh Amir Waheed highlighted the Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s inaction regarding lease renewals of commercial plots in a meeting with the newly appointed CDA Chairman Usman Akhtar Bajwa on 7th February 2018, according to a news report. The business community has also expressed its unrest over the matter.
They believe that without renewed leases of commercial plots, the business community cannot promote its business activities. ICCI has also shared the views of the business community, highlighting that without the extension by 99 years, business communities won’t be able carry out trading activities.
