Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will form a committee to identify and analyse encroachments, a news source quoted the CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed.
He was speaking to a delegation from the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) led by its President Ahmed Hassan Moughal. The delegation also included Senior Vice President Rafat Farid, Vice President ICCI, Vice President FPCCI Muhammad Ejaz Abassi, Ajmal Baloch, Khalid Chaudhry, Yousaf Rajput, Malik Rab Nawaz, Ch. Nadeem ud Din, Aftab Gujjar, Shehzad Abbasi, Muhammad Ali Mirza, Muhammad Hussain, Tahir Abbasi, Sardar Tahir Mehmood, Awwal Khan and others.

Deputy Commissioner ICT Hamza Shafqaat and CDA Member Estate Khushal Khan were also present at the occasion.
Addressing the delegation, CDA Chairman said that CDA has started operations against encroachments in light of Supreme Court orders. He said there were lot of encroachments in various markets and stressed that the business community should cooperate with CDA in the removal of such encroachments. He said a committee will be formed to identify and analyse encroachments.
The Chairman will also hold another meeting with traders on Friday to give them further briefing on the issue.
