Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday made notification of the retrieval of land by its officials from encroachers in Park Enclave II — with the authority proceeding to build a 10,050 feet fence around the area supported by 1,050 poles, according to news sources.

The authority had recently retrieved over 450 kanals of the society’s land from various encroachers and land grabbers. The said fence in Park Enclave II is being erected as a precautionary measure against attempts at re-occupying the recovered land — with 3,000 running feet of fence having already been erected using 300 poles.

Reportedly, the apex civic authority has almost completed its development work in Park Enclave-I, and is now working to develop Park Enclave-II; the tenders for which are likely to be issued soon. The recent CDA- Development Working Party (DWP) meeting approved the PC-I for the development of infrastructure in the society, and streets have also been marked at the project site — with the area ready for the launch of constrRead:uction work.
