Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has prepared and approved new rules for the construction of marriage halls, and marquees for which an application for regularisation as per the new rules is not received in the next 30 days will be demolished, according to a publication. In this regard, notices have also been shared at CDA’s One Window Operation, Building Control-I and Master Plan Directorate office.
In addition to that, the new rules are also made available at the official website of CDA. Through this notice shared in national dailies, the CDA informs owners of marquees and those looking to construct one to submit a new application according to the new rules for regularising their marriage halls and marquees within 30 days of publication of the notice; latest by March 23.
All marquees and marriage halls for which an application for regularisation is not received within the mentioned time period will be demolished.
