Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday said that the PWD underpass will be completed in July, according to news sources.

Another development project on Islamabad Expressway, the Korang bridge expansion, is expected to be finished by December this year. The progress of work on the PWD underpass has been expediated, while more than 50% of work on the Korang bridge is completed.
In a press release issued by CDA, it was mentioned that letters had been sent to WAPDA and SNGPL asking them to shift pipelines 16 inches away from the site to ensure timely completion.
Moreover, the CDA reported that special attention is paid to the rehabilitation of the road infrastructure and the construction of new bridges, roads, and avenues. Also, two more lanes are to be added to the expressway from Koral to T. Chowk.

CDA officer, whose name was not mentioned, said that they are working on getting PKR 500 million funds from the federal government for the expansion of Koral to GT Road.
