Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to collect development charges from the allottees of Sector I-15, states a news source. A summary, sent to the authorities concerned in this regard back in April this year, still awaits approval.
Reportedly, the delay in the approval of the summary is spreading panic among thousands of the plot allottees of Sector I-15. The decision to collect development charges from some plot owners was taken to charge equal amount of money from the new and old allottees, as many of the old allottees were offered 5-marla plots instead of the flats they booked in Sector I-15 after the government cancelled this project.
Per the news source, allottees of 5-marla plots would be required to pay PKR 9,000,000 in terms of development charges, bringing an end to the allegation of discrimination between new and old allottees.
