Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has initiated the carpeting of all main and link roads in a bid to beautify the capital city. These stretches include the roads located in Sectors I-8, I-9, I-10, I-11, I-14, G, and H sub-sectors, as per a new source published today (January 7).

According to the details revealed, the civic agency stated that 10% development work on Sector I-11, box 4, had been completed. It was also reported that 20% work on the drainage system of the same sector and the tender the street number 32 was in its final phase.
Moreover, the development and restoration work on the infrastructure of Sector I-14 is also currently underway, while 90% of the work on the drainage system of the said sector is complete. The work on development of streets in Sector I-14 is also underway.

Similarly, in Sectors I and H, over 70% of carpeting of the roads has been completed. It was also reported that as many as 75 streets of sector I-10 had been re-carpeted.
