Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will hold an auction of commercial and residential plots from April 8 to April 11 at the Jinnah Convention Centre, a news source reported.

CDA spokesperson Syed Safdar Ali said that the civic agency board had approved the auction process during a meeting on Monday. The authority will reportedly auction plots situated in sectors F-10, G-10, D-12, and F-11.
At least 40 residential plots will be put up for auction on April 8 and 9. For the remaining two days, CDA plans to auction 40 commercial properties situated in Blue Area and other developed sectors of the city.

The CDA board has also formed a high-level committee to supervise the auction proceedings. Its representatives include members of the finance, planning, and estate departments, as well as the deputy director general (Law), deputy financial adviser, and directors of Public Relations, Regional Planning, Urban Planning, and Estate Management wings.
