Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is preparing to auction commercial plots in September this year, worth billions of rupees, a news report read. An official from the planning wing and estate management wing of the CDA believes that the civic body can do more for the city if it has exact details of where its commercial properties are located. The official also believes that more money can be earned in this way as well.
The civic body sells its fixed assets twice in a fiscal year as a means of paying back the recurring costs.
