Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced its decision to commence with the development work in three stalled residential sectors which collectively feature 30,000 plots, according to a news report published on February 14.

CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed on Saturday visited sectors I-14, I-15 and I-16 and issued directives to the officials concerned to carry out development work on an urgent basis. He also directed the CDA management to develop modern parks in the said sectors.
During a press briefing, the CDA chairman stated the development work in the mentioned sectors had been ‘neglected’. However, he revealed that development work is now being executed in the area that includes completion of a road linking sectors I-14 and I-16 and that street lights are being installed.

The chairman said that the civic authority wants to complete the development work in CDA stalled sectors within six months. He also said that they also intend to issue plot allotments during the same time period.
