Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) management has ordered all concerned departments to make the public complaint redressal system more efficient and robust in order to address citizens’ grievances effectively.
According to a news source, all heads of formations and directorates have been instructed to allocate proper time to address the complaints.
Reportedly, the civic authority has also improved the functionality of its One Window Operations (OWO) Directorate, which was established to address land-related disputes. The directorate now has an ‘urgent cases’ facility, a senior citizens counter and standard operating procedures in place to ensure that cases are dealt with in a timely manner.
OWO has also implemented a new information technology system, which will help facilitate cases related to the transfer of property and building plans, the news source further reported.
