The dilapidated condition of the Kurang Road had been causing traffic woes for the residents of Margalla Town and surrounding areas for years. In order to resolve these persisting problems, the CDA board presented a road rehabilitation project before the 46th meeting of the CDA’s Development Working Party (DWP), held in January 2020. During the session, not only was the project approved, but a budget amounting to PKR 101.182 million was also set aside for the development of the aforementioned road.
Under this project, three culverts will be constructed to help with the flow of water in the area. In addition, several improvements will be made to the road, including soft landscaping and the provision of electric facilities.
