Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has deferred its planned auction of residential and commercial plots on Monday, September 1, 2014 because of the ongoing protests in the Federal Capital.
According to a news source, the civic authority now plans to hold the auction in the second week of September.
CDA Spokesman Mr Amir Khichi told reporters that the auction of plots had not been cancelled but shelved for the time being to facilitate investors, as it was problematic for them to reach the venue due to the current security arrangements in the capital.
