CDA Spokesperson Mazhar Hussain said that the underpass on Faisal Avenue only requires the final finishing touches and highlighted that the project is being completed below the bidding cost – which was already lower than the estimate.
He said that the completion of the G-7 and G-8 underpass was expected in May, but the construction work was halted owing to the anti-COVID-19 lockdown ensued by the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

As for the Park Enclave Bridge, the CDA spokesperson said that the project only needs a few more engineering interjections and is being completed within the bidding cost. The Burma Bridge on Lehtrar Road is also near completion and is being launched earlier than expected – with cost savings.
Furthermore, the authority is all set to launch work on mega projects including the expansion of Korang Bridge, the PWD underpass, and an interchange on the Rawal Dam Chowk.
