Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has taken a strategic step to overcome budgetary challenges by announcing an auction of plots, agro farms, and apartments, scheduled for January 2024, as disclosed in a news article on December 26.

As per the details, the plot auction is slated to occur from January 10 to 12 at the F9 Park in Gandhara Hall, offering an opportunity to alleviate the financial constraints faced by the CDA. The auction encompasses a diverse range of properties situated in prominent areas such as Blue Area, Centres, and Park Road. The list includes petrol pumps, Class Three shopping centres, agro farms, apartment plots, fruit and vegetable shops, IT centres, and hostel plots.

To facilitate this initiative, the CDA has emphasized the importance of collecting 25% of the bid amount within one month. For payments in USD, a 5% discount will be applied. Additionally, a substantial 10% discount will be granted for complete payments made within one month of bid acceptance. The approval for construction plans will be expedited upon the first instalment payment.
