Islamabad: The Building Control Department of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) shared details of revenue collection during April, according to a press release by the authority on May 16.

As per the details, the building control department received PKR 84 million in revenue during April. The following are the details of the revenue collection:
- For the issuance of completion certificates for 31 residential buildings in the city, the authority collected PKR 3 million in revenue
- The CDA approved maps of 28 residential buildings and earned PKR 2 million in revenue
- The building department received more than PKR 77 million for the approval of maps for commercial buildings

- PKR 0.7 million was generated by issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for 69 residential buildings
- For NOCs issuance to 18 commercial buildings, PKR 0.36 million were collected
- Some building owners were fined PKR 0.5 million for violation of building by-laws
