Islamabad: The city administration has shared the helpline for citizens to lodge complaints regarding cleanliness issues in the capital city, a news source reported. According to the details revealed, Islamabad residents can share their grievances on 1334 or WhatsApp their concerns at 0335-5001213.

The initiative is part of the efforts undertaken by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to maintain cleanliness in Islamabad. Director Sanitation Sardar Khan Zmarai stated that CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed had issued directives to install waste containers in all parts of the capital city.
The civic agency has already commenced with the drive. It intends to place 100 large metal waste containers and 500 small trash cans in areas identified for the cleanliness drive in the capital city. Similarly, as many as 1,000 dust bins will be installed in all commercial areas of Islamabad within a week.

Moreover, the development authority is expected to open the tenders for a cleanliness drive proposed for rural areas of the capital city on March 1.
