Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s policy board has approved new rules for the construction of high-rise buildings in various zones, where the area limit set for such buildings in Zones II and V is 40 kanals, reported a news source. The board also accepted the proposal for having uniform planning parameters for constructing medium-heighted residential apartments in Zone II, IV and V.
Furthermore, in its sixth meeting held so far in 2018, the board approved that high-rise buildings in Zone IV cannot have an area less than 20 kanals. The maximum area limit for these buildings in all zones is set at 400 kanals.
