Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed has directed the relevant officials of the engineering wing to complete the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover project by September, according to news published in the national dailies on May 13.

As per the details, the CDA Chairman Ahmed and other officials visited the project sites of the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover and 7th Avenue Interchange. He ordered the officials to expedite the work on the projects. The CDA chairman was informed that most of the work on 7th Avenue will be completed by August 14. Further, he was notified that the said project will be completed in three phases; with phase 1 to be completed by June 15, phase 2 by July 15, and the last phase by August 14.

As far as the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover is concerned, the culvert part of the Rawal Dam Chowk will be completed within 15 days. The slip road towards Park Road will be open to traffic on Monday.
