ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday urged the city dwellers to cooperate with the authority’s initiatives of keeping the city clean, according to a news report. CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed made the appeal, while addressing the media, after inspecting the cleanliness situation of the metropolis.
The authority’s chairman acknowledged that keeping the city clean was the responsibility of the authority – but is not possible without support from the residents in this regard. Elaborating on the citizens’ role, Ahmed said that it was very important to refrain from dumping garbage in the open, in markets and in front of houses.
