Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) sealed 12 more schools operating in the residential area of F-7, as per a news report. This action has been taken as a part of campaign against private schools not conforming to rules prohibiting use of residential properties for commercial purposes.
The CDA Director Building Control Faisal Naeem said that these 12 schools have been sealed in addition to 39 sealed in G-6, F-8 and I-8 earlier as per the directives of the Islamabad High Court. He also added that this is being done because under the CDA’s regulations, no commercial activity is allowed in residential areas. Naeem also said that all measures would be taken to ensure this practice is continued.
