Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) convened a review meeting on Monday to evaluate the progress of development projects in various sectors of the city, according to a news article on January 22.

As per the details, the session, chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, included participation from board members and senior officials.
Key updates were provided for Sectors C-14, C-16, I-12, and E-12. In Sector C-14, 90% of road infrastructure work has been finalised, with blacktop application planned once weather conditions permit. Drainage and sewage system installations are advancing steadily, and a demand note for electricity provision has been issued. Chairman Randhawa underscored the need to hand over plot possession to allottees upon completion of final instalment payments.
In Sector C-16, the Chairman directed the resolution of pending issues and urged faster progress on development work. For Sector I-12, it was reported that base-level road construction has been completed, with Triple Surface Treatment (TST) scheduled to begin shortly. Plot possession in this sector is also anticipated soon.

Regarding Sector E-12, Randhawa instructed officials to expedite development activities and prioritise the removal of encroachments. He emphasised the timely provision of plot possession to allottees.
The meeting reinforced CDA’s commitment to ensuring efficient project execution and fulfilling its obligations to residents and stakeholders.
