Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority has shared a reminder of its upcoming open auction of commercial plots in different sectors of Islamabad, according to an advert shared in the leading newspapers on May 21.

As per the details, the open auction is set to take place at Jinnah Convention Centre from May 29 to May 31, from 10 AM onwards. The plots to be auctioned are located in Park Enclave Commercial, Industrial Plots, Agro Farms, Class-III Shopping Centre, Blue Area, Marakaz, E-11 Northern Strip, Petrol Pumps, and E-11/F-11 (Canopy side/marquee).
It was disclosed that the brochures with all the details of the plots are available at the one-window directorate and selected branches of various banks including UBL, HBL, Askari Bank, MCB, and Bank of Punjab. The authority termed it as a ‘golden opportunity of investment in Islamabad’ for both local and overseas Pakistanis with complete legal protection.
Moreover, the commercial plots are available on a flexible completion period. The following are the details:
- Up to 1,000 yards: 3 years
- Up to 3,000 yards: 4 years
- More than 3,000 yards: 5 years

Reportedly, the CDA is offering a 10% rebate on the total payment made within one month and an additional 5% rebate in case the payments are made in USD. The advertisement also shared that a facilitation team will help investors at every step. The building plans will be approved after payment of the initial 25% amount. The advert further revealed that the authority will not charge for site and marketing offices.
