Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has relaunched the development work on PWD Underpass at full pace, the authority’s official Facebook page revealed on October 14. The work began after the construction machinery was moved to the construction site a few days ago.

According to the details revealed, the excavation work is being done on both eastern and western loops of the underpass. More than 80% excavation work has been completed on eastern loop, while 20% work has been done on the western loop and the work is in full swing.
The civic agency is also in contact with utility providers such as the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) and the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) to shift their installations from the underpass on an immediate basis.

The construction work of the PWD Underpass is being done on the Islamabad Expressway which is among the most important traffic arteries of the capital city.
