Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to revamp the Melody Food Park – the beloved food destination of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, according to news published in the leading newspaper on February 11.

The CDA director has directed the relevant officials to form a strategy to restore the park so it can be brought up to global standards. It was revealed that the visitors have complained about the sanitation and lack of seating arrangements at the park.

As per the details, the restoration of Melody Food Park will include the construction of pavement, provision of contemporary seating arrangements and services for both winters and summers, and beautification of entry points. It was also shared that stands will be set up that sell handicrafts in a bid to provide employment opportunities for women. The news source mentioned that the authority will pay for the renovation from its own funds.
