Islamabad – CDA (Capital Development Authority) failed to attract buyers for selling all the residential plots in sectors E-12 and D-12.
CDA Estate Management received only 100 applications against 500 plots. Huge expenses were made on civic body’s advertisement campaign. Nevertheless, the authority received minor response from the general public.
Catering to this, CDA has extended the date for accepting applications from 01 October to 04 October. However, extension is unlikely to make significant difference. According to the experts, buyers got discouraged due to high prices and 50% down-payment during the submission of application.
