As per the official reports, the CDA took action against the Jedah Town society for selling off plots over the land in hand. Additionally, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had also filed two references against the society developers, as a result of which the society management was ordered to hand over the land of the project to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.

The CDA Enforcement Directorate has been issued directives to ensure that it closely monitors the recovered land, with pillars having already been constructed around the property in question. All the codal formalities of obtaining the possession of Jedah Town’s land have also been completed.
Reportedly, the Jedah Town project had been established in 1993, over an area of 297 kanals. However, the area was expanded to over 800 kanals, in order to comply with CDA’s laws.
